Join Lynn Setterington for a talk about her collaborative signature cloth, which marks the centenary of the death of Emily Wilding Davison at the Epsom Derby in June 1913.
2pm-4pm Bicycles: the chains that set women free. Heritage cycle tour led by Ursula Harries and Glynis Francis.
This guided cycle tour takes a meandering route from Alexandra Park to the Pankhurst Centre on Nelson street. We'll stop along the way at sites associated with some of the many inspirational women who campaigned for women's rights. Total distance 5 miles, finishing back at Alexandra Park.
